Last weekend, Venture Scout Ryan and Assistant International Commissioner Michael was in London to support and watch King Charles lll Coronation Service and Procession from St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey. They also interacted with President Halimah Yacob at the Overseas Singaporeans Reception.

The Singapore Scout Association is the only youth organisation from Singapore to send a team to partake in the coronation event.

“It is a great honour to be given the opportunity to represent Singapore and our Scout Association at this historic event. As a history student, I have had the opportunity to understand the importance that the British monarchy had on the early days of Singapore and this opportunity would definitely broaden my horizon and see the world from a different perspective. I will do my best to serve the community wherever needed.”
