Joined the Tiger Scout Troop in 1989.
Held various appointment since 1995 as Assistant Scout Leader, Venture Scout Leader, Assistant District Commissioner(Tampines), District Commissioner(Tampines), Assistant Area Commissioner(East), Area Resource Commissioner(Northeast). Attained Woodbadge in 1997.
Attended several conferences, seminars/workshops and jamborees at regional and world level.
Scouting at Asia Pacific Region as member, Scouting Profile Sub-Committee from 2009 – 2012; member, Financial Resource Sub-Committee, 2007-2009.
Conferred the Star to Bronze Lion Award, Bronze Lion Award, Long Service(10yrs) Award. Recieved Service to School Award from ala mater in 1998.
Affiliated to Tunnellling and Underground Construction Society Singapore.
Lai Kwok Chin

Kwok Chin started scouting in 1983 with Victoria Arrow Scout Group. Since then, he has taken up various roles such as Assistant Scout Leader, Assistant Cub Scout Leader, Venture Scout Leader and Assistant District Commissioner. He is also currently the Assistant Group Scout Leader of Victoria Arrow Scout Group.
Kwok Chin enjoys scouting because of the vast opportunities to interact with others of all ages and backgrounds. His passion for scouting is also due to the fact that it enables him teach others and more importantly to learn from others at the same time. He believes that there is so much to learn in every activity that he take part in. Scouting is an ever-learning, self-development process.
Kwok Chin has managed to apply those learning in my family life and work life alike. At work, he manages a team of 30 engineers. In addition to applying management skills he has acquired through his MBA, he has also applied the Scout Method like small group organization and learning by doing in his day-to-day work.
Kwok Chin is happily married to a lovely woman of my life and have a wonderful boy.

Goh Yee Heng
Yee Heng was invested as a Scout in Year 1991 and as a youth member received the Pengakap Raja (King’s Scout) from Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia (PPM) in Year 1996.
Subsequently, he held positions as Assistant Scoutmaster (ASM), Scoutmaster (SM), Perak State Rover Crew Vice Chairman, Training Team, King’s Scout Standardizer with PPM from 1997-2000.
He then joined up as Assistant Scout Leader (ASL) with The Scout Association, UK from 2000-2002. Achieved Woodbadge award from UK in Year 2002.
Later, he came into the Singapore Scouting circles in 2008 and was appointed as the Area Unit Development Commissioner (Southeast) in 2009. Most recent appointment of which being District Commissioner for Katong District and as a member of the Singapore Training Team.
Being a King Scout, he later signed up and became a member of the Association of Top Achiever Scout (ATAS-World) in year 2008. Yee Heng’s current key interest lies in the research of Scout Programme worldwide, Top Scout Awards, British Pre APR badges programme schemes and badge progress systems for the entire NSO.
Yee Heng is affiliated with the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) UK and the Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) USA.
In the professional line, he currently takes up the jobscope of Regional Sales Manager for US MNC dealing with Data Tracking System.
Jacqueline Lau

Formerly a Brownie and Girl Guide, Jacqueline took a brief plunge into Scouting while assisting a unit in Sydney, Australia in 2001-2002.
She then served in the UK as an Assistant Cub Scout Leader with the London City of Westminster District (where her Group had the distinct honour of celebrating the 2007 Centenary at 10 Downing Street-turned-adventure-centre with Tony Blair!) prior to joining the Singapore Scout Association in 2009.
Aside from her national appointments, she also currently runs the Thomson Community’s Colugo Scout Group (Open) as Assistant Group Scout Leader.
Nature hiking, interpretive guiding, wildlife photography, and reading of philosophical and socio-political literature are her other passions. When asked to explain her accent, she points out that she is “originally from Hong Kong”, but it usually fails to satisfy.

Joined Scouting as Cub Scout with The General Association of the Scouts of China before migrating to Singapore in 1993. Scouting with Dove Scout Group. Held position as District Auxiliary Leader and Assistant District Commissioner. Currently member of the National Training Team.
Participated in the 25th APR Scout Jamboree, Thailand 2005; National Celebration Camp for Centennial Celebration of Scouting, Taiwan 2006 and Invitational Programme, Japan 2006; 1st International Seminar on Intellectual Property, Thailand 2009.
Attained Woodbadge in 2010.
Recipient of the Singapore Scout Association Bronze Lion Award, Chief Scout’s Commendation and Long Service Award.
