Method of Wear
Medals are worn in uniform on the left chest above the line of pocket, in the following order from the wearer’s right:
a) Gallantry Awards
b) Distinguished Service Awards
c) Long Service Awards
On ordinary occasions, the cloth emblem (ribbon), with the design of a knot, is issued for wear in place of the medals.
Gallantry Medal
The Gallantry Award is conferred on scouts or adult leaders who have displayed heroic effort or placed themselves at great personal risks in rescuing another person from danger.
Medal of Valour
The Medal of Valor in conferred on Scouts or Adult Leaders who have performed an act or series of acts displaying personal courage constituting distinguished and courageous conduct in circumstances dangerous to himself.
Medal of Courage
The Medal of Courage is conferred on Scout or Adult Leader who have performed an act or series of acts displaying personal courage or bravery.
Distinguished Service
Gold Medal
The Distinguished Service Gold Award is the highest award granted by the Association and is conferred on adult leaders who have served the Association with utmost distinction and whose contributions have made a vital and exceptional impact on the scout movement in Singapore.

Star to Silver Medal
The Distinguished Service Star to Silver Award is conferred on adult leaders who have served the Association with excellence, passion and dedication and whose contributions have made a very strong impact on the scout movement in Singapore.

The Distinguished Service Silver Award is conferred on adult leaders who have served the Association with great loyalty and whose contributions have made a significant impact on the Scout movement in Singapore.

Star to Bronze Medal
The Distinguished Service Star to Bronze Award is conferred on adult leaders who have displayed untiring efforts and sacrifices and shown themselves to be worthy models for other adult leaders and scouts in the movement.
Distinguished Service
Bronze Medal
The Distinguished Service Bronze Award is conferred on adult leaders who have dedicated themselves to the cause of the scout movement and have been an inspiration for scouts in Singapore.
Chief Scout's Commendation
The Chief Scout Commendation is conferred on adult leaders who have made good and worthy contributions to the Scout movement in Singapore.
Centennial Silver Medal
The Centennial Silver Award is to be awarded to Adult Leaders who have actively contributed and participated in the 2010 Centenary activities.
Centennial Gold Medal
The Centennial Gold Award is presented to 100 individuals who have contributed substantially to the development and growth of scouting in Singapore. The first medal was presented to Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong on 27 February 2010.
